# VoxRefine

> VoxRefine is a browser-based voiceover breath-removal tool. Users provide isolated breath samples from their own recording; VoxRefine uses them to find and suppress matching breaths in a voiceover.

Upload 1–5 isolated breath samples, each 0.1–10 seconds, and one voiceover from 2 seconds to 20 minutes. WAV, FLAC and OGG are supported. The combined size of all samples and the voiceover must be at most 250 MB. Source format, duration and sample validity are checked.

Matching regions are combined and suppressed once. Detection uses heuristic signal processing with heuristic speech-context protection. It is not AI or speech recognition, and it may miss breaths or affect speech. Results are not guaranteed; users should listen to the preview.

Timing and channels are unchanged, and WAV output preserves the source frame count, channel layout and native sample rate. VoxRefine does not apply studio enhancement, EQ, compression, limiting, de-essing, normalization, a LUFS target or any global loudness change. MP3 is lossy.
WAV is normally PCM 24-bit. If a floating-point source has samples above 0 dBFS, WAV and listening previews retain float headroom instead of clipping into integer PCM or changing gain. Standard playback and lossy MP3 may clip those original peaks.

The first up-to-two-minute preview is free. The full WAV and MP3 exports cost US$10 once. After successful processing, users may opt to save all supplied breath samples privately and reuse them for future uploads. A fresh set is recommended if the speaker, microphone or room changes. Forgetting the saved-sample preference does not delete previous jobs or source files.

Studio enhancement is retired for new jobs. Past enhanced downloads remain available.
